Huge Aimara and other monsters

The Aimara is the big wolf fish there, look around 43 seconds, hes the one on the right of the video just hovering and has kind of a torn up tail. He seems kinda lazy and doesnt go after the feeders very often haha

I can see the fish eating the feeder at around 2:43, but I don't see an aimara. It is an awsome fish for sure and the tank goes without saying, but in my experience with wolf fish that is not an aimara. (I do have an idea about what an aimara looks like)

It looks to me like it's a big black wolfish. I have never seen an Aimara that timid.

Yea I saw this vid a long time ago. I'm not so sure it's an Aimara but it's definitely a stunning wolf!

Do blacks even get that large?

I have never seen an Aimara in real life, I was just guessing from the photos i've seen. Ive just seen blacks under 20" and they look way darker than this guy.

The wolf in that vid is an Aimara, today when I was watching the VS channel show called Hunt for Big Fish, it was about catching Aimara and this tank was shown in the episode and it was mention that it was an Aimara
Oh yea iif anybody has the VS channel i recommend this show, this guy catches everythign for arapaima to GATF's its a great show

Well im not an expert on wolf fish, to me black and aimara look the same , how can you tell the difference specially at that size.
