Lighting on the 110 is a double 4 foot bulb fixture on a 5 foot tank. I have T-8's in there. Not sure on the wattage.
and you aren't going to believe this, but the 55 only has a single 4 foot T-10 bulb.
Neither tank gets any Co2. Both get Kent fetilizer and twice a month water changes.
The 55 gets a lot of indirect sun. The room it's in faces East. No direct sun to the tank but the room gets a lot of natural light.
I just added some Cabomba to the 55 to see how things go.
The 110 has sand as a substrate and the 55 has very small grain gravel. Nothing close to sand, but it's closer to sand than most gravel sold in the LFS. If on a scale of 1-10, Sand was a 1 in terms of size and regular gravel a 10. This stuff would be around a 3-4 range...
