Huge Canadian Largemouth Bass!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The water looks so warm and blue...lol

I had 65lbs braid spooled up because I use that rod to fish topwater hollow body frogs in really heavy cover and anything under 65lbs braid I'd lose the fish or break the line...

I hear ya, I usually use 30# for that application and even that seems to be pushing it but if you're breaking off with lower test line do what you gotta do!

man i guess im just a finesse fisher. i throw 6lb test most of the time, but i am hunting the back waters and creeks for 1 to 3lb fish seeing that i dont have a boat. last week i caught a 3lb catfish on my ultra light and a mepps spinner. boy was that fun

Nice Giant Canadian largemouth! Minnesota doesn't have any giant bass either and a 24" largemouth is a giant in Minnesota...tho my grandma caught a 26" bass two years ago.

what size is an above average bass in canada? 3 lbs? i guess what im asking is the comparison, and why they are smaller. also what size test are you using on that reel??
Shortest growing season up north.
