Krill contains thiaminase. It should not be fed exclusively. Please read here on thiaminase:

Learned something new today. I haven't been able to get a couple of my fish on anything but krill (or live). :irked: Now I've got to put some thought into figuring out something else, and pray they're willing to eat it.

Have you tried squid? Fish usually find it to be irresistibly stinky. And it's cheap!

Hikari Massivore. If your fish will eat it, its all it will ever need to be fed. Its a little pricey but shop around you can find it for a reasonable price. Variety is good though, meaty foods like raw peeled shrimp and squid or bits of fish fillet make excellent supplements to the massivore.

I feed a little Massivore with every meal -- I figure it's got the nutritional content that may be lacking in the other (frozen) foods I feed. I also feed algae wafers (by the handful!). Wet Whiskers, what fish are you having trouble switching over?

Got to love massivore. I feed my big cats a combo of massivore, sinking cichild gold, algae waffers, along with other random stuff. They love it and they have grown so nicely.

I'm stuggling with some Dats. They will only eat live or krill. I've tried to slowly introduce pellets as I have with everyone else, but these guys are not interested one bit. Ive been working with them for a few months, but its just not happening. I've never tried squid. I could give it a go.

I will have him on something else than krill soon but I can't get anything too expensive right now. Atleast he's not on his goldfish diet anymore.

If I fed my catfish and moray eel this whole thing of frozen krill would it effect them badly? I cannot get anything fancy right now until the krill are eaten I paid $11 for it and I'm not wasting my money.

Squid is three dollars a box for a BUNCH of squid. Tilapia is eight dollars a package for a BUNCH of Tilapia.
