huge lima shovelnose catfish

just picked this guy up about 18+inches and thick very healthy..to add to my collection. lima catfish. here are some pictures

Wow! They looks so cool when they get big! I never really paid much attention to them before until I saw a large one.

Oh no, that's larger than the reported max size!!! What will I ever do with the full grown one year old 15" one I have? Lol, big ones been popping up everywhere lately! Think the tally is about 10 I've seen on here over 15", and 4 over 18". One over 22". Good job, grow him out larger!!!

That Lima looks awesome, there used to be a pair in a shop display tank over here that I swear were over 24'' each.

I thought they got 24" though rarely in home aquaria?
