Huge Pacu in FL

Meh, there are bigger ones in a pond in Hawaii. Broke my damn net trying to get it out. I couldn't hold it with one arm like that...

They have to swim at an angle so the top of their bodies don't break the water...and it's well over knee deep on me. Mid thigh I'd say (I'm 6'2").

Impressive fish, nontheless.

60 #er was caught in a nearby lake by Tamiami Airport not too long ago. I've seen 2 footers in our Lake. Don't think they are established, just occasional pets dumped in local waterways, I think.

I think they could live as far north as Weeki Wachee with the springs. Hey they can eat all the water hyacinths (sp?) (I think thats the plant) they want.
