HUGE problem

First off, what size of tank is this? Lots of people are saying things like ”it’s fine “ “don’t worry about it”.

if this is a 150g or more I disagree with that. But if it is a 20-30g or less you may have more forgiveness than that.

if you resealed it 2 years ago, I wonder how well it was done if the caulking is already stripped from the tank? What caulking did you use? I don’t know much about rabbit snails but I highly doubt they would eat silicone.
It's just a 30 long, I just used the generic $5 silicone 1 from home depot.

I had a pair of ancistrus in the tank but that was last year, once I moved them out/redid the tank and got the rabbit snails (and everything else in there) in it was fine for awhile, up until a couple weeks ago when I'd start seeing some of the babies up on the silicone, then that's when it started to deteriorate. It only got down to the amount in the picture within like 2 weeks.

Very weird. If it is actually the rabbit snails or their fry doing it then you indeed have an issue and you should nuke the tank, clean it out and reseal it before it all falls apart ?

Like I said, would take a lot of work to take down but I'd be willing to do it. All in favor say I
