not stealth heater. If a heater is on the side of the tank, they can get on the glass and rest on it and get burnt. my heater is stuck where the verticle wall and the top acylic meet but stuck to the top. The ray would have to hover on the top to get burnt... Never had a problem.
It is best in a sump, that is how my other tank is, but no sump on this one.
It does not run all that much as my equipment and my temperature in my house.

How big is the tank?, measures?.....my new tank arrives on tuesday, i have a Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum (60cm), a male MM (35cm, 4 years old) and a male Leo (20cm, but not here yet), and i just want to figure out how much space will they have.....new tank is 250x100x50cm (8,2x3,2x1,6ft).

tank is 72" x 32" x 24"

so quite a bit smaller than yours
