hmmmm, i chucked him and my female in together and he ate all her fins so hes now in an upside down basket with a paperweight on top lol and shes got the rest of the tank. i did have a divider up but he broke it down within 5 mins
hes that now lol but at the time just about 3.5". hes killed my 6inch talkin cat, 8inch gibb, tyrannochromis which was about 5inches.

he wasnt 28in..... maybe 22
and there was more than one this time around that size, and a bunch about 10in
ima try to catch them next change, and ill try to cover the circle ditch thing with a big net so they have to swim into it

Try noodling them. It takes a lot of time and a lot of practice but when you finally get one it will be a trophy.
You can also cast net for them. Just make sure you check the regulations for the body of water that the ditch drains into (being a ditch may be a cool loop hole if it isn't close to the body of water). The regulations are pretty confusing here, but what you want to look for is the water management district's over all rules, and then for exclusions for the particular body of water.

yup fl is full of monster fish
i seen the biggest pleco ever around miami
it was around 3 ft no joke
always tuff to tell by a pic but here he is
i didnt net it cus he would have broke my net lol
and i have seen and caught tons at 20-24" so i know my sizes too
