Do you not understand that hybrids are not designated latin names under the binomial nomenclature system? I also fail to see how you are unable to use google. Here's a quick primer. 1- You go to www.google.com 2- You type in a 'keyterm' 3-You peruse through the links and skim the blurbs to find one that may fit what you need.

You probably also don't know that you need a permit to import fish.

Koi aren't hybrids.

The "human face fish" is a hybrid. (I assumed he was referring to a few fishes with unique facial features lauded in the news as "human face fish." I know that ghost koi, like all koi, are just selectively bred from carp.)

probably a "hybrid" between different strains of koi, but not hybrid in a biological sense because it is not the mixing of species.

Hybrid goldfish X koi are sterile and look nothing like koi. The human faced koi is a strain of koi that was discovered by chance.

so the human face fish in the news is a pure ghost koi?

The human face fish in the news is a hybrid between two types of carp. Here is that google link and the text accompanying it:

www.prisonplanet.com/articles/january2005/130105humanface.htm

One of two 19-year-old fish with human-like facial features in Chongju, about 140 km (88 miles) south of Seoul on January 10, 2005. The hybrid species fish were born between a carp and a leather carp in the pond of a personal house in Chongju. Each of the two female fish is 80 cm (32 inches) long and 50 cm (20 inches) in circumference. The owner of the fish said on Monday that their faces have begun to look more and more human over the last couple of years. Picture taken January 10. KOREA OUT REUTERS/Chungcheong Today

Yeah, Meepster is correct. The article is misleading. The leather carp is just the scaleless version of the common carp. If you consider a hybrid a cross between breeds or strains then it is a hybrid but it isen't a cross between different species.
