for the mother while and before she prego.

I add the liquid stuff to the pups already.zoecon and vitachem I have been using the liquid aquarium stuff for years once a week . I'm not sold on it. Most of it leaks out before the fish digests it.

Calgary have you looked into any of the products from CZ Aquaproducts? 2 in particular I am thinking of is Power Breed and Aqua Plus.

My older pups so far are eating night crawlers and tilapia chopped up. And they get fat backs on them from my feedings. My pair that is two months old I feed 4-6 large night crawlers to them and then when I'm feeding tilapia it's a peice about 2"x3" chopped up. My newer pups 5 total just under 3 weeks get about 1.5 worms each each day. I always make sure they are fed more then they would eat super fast. And if anything is left over they push it out of the pup system and the parents below or fish below clean it up. Also on the weekends I up my feeds to twice a day.

How much do you feed the mother? Maybe your not feeding enough just an idea. If you had to say how big is the mom and how much food do you feed her per day? Also what foods? Do you feed a variety?
Do your pups get fat backs like parents after heavy feedings?

Yes I have looked at the Asian aqua plus products. They are very similar to what I use now. I'm not sold on liquids as they don't Injest much.

I feed my rays smelt,shrimp,clam and scallop when they are cheap. And they get fed very well . All my rays are born fat than a few have become issues . Some are bullet proof off the hop while others are months of pain staking feeding.
