Air rifles on squirrels is a never ending battle. You kill 6 the first week and one a week for the rest of your life.

You need to close up the hole they are getting in through, and that is no small task.

FYI: squirrel hunting has a season and requires a small game hunting license, so if you are going to shoot them...KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. Bragging about the 4 squirrels you just shot with out a license and out of season is a good way to get into big troubles.

I don't think you could get a critter out of a sticky pad trap with out A.) getting bit or B.) seriously injuring the animal. Sticky pads are designed to prevent the animal from getting unstuck and they do a good job of that.

this^ when I worked at a petstore the sticky pads would always catch the errant hamsters as well. We were able to save one or two, most tho died a pretty miserable death.....

Those work pretty well. You might could go to the hunting/feed store and get some bottled predator urine to deter them. Figure out how they are getting in as well and wire it up.

just use those glue pads. i thought they were fine because having rat poison and stuff laying around with other pets in the house is always dangerous. but then when you come back to seeing a rat glued to that sheet, its a bit scary. but the glue pads are the most efficient over here.

i thought you could get them off the pad easily..... thanks for that knowledge
oh and yeah, squirrels got a season and you should shoot them only in season ;)
