You're a Tool you posted at 7:48pm how to put down a fish and at 8:24 you killed him without even hearing what people had to say and pissed your mom off at the same time .. I do not think that you were inhumane, especially to the other fish in the tank that were being damaged.
When I have to kill a fish (thankfully not that often) I place it in a sock or towel then slam it in the head with a large hammer, if the fish is large enough that it might survive the first blow I would just use a bigger hammer, it may seem brurtal but I figure "No Brain (left) equals No Pain". As for killing a living thing, I eat meat, does your mom? If so does she think that the animal it can from commited suicide? Or is just okay because someone else killed it for her?
