humans VS the wild

a thread got me an idea.. humans VS the wild ( jungle ) NO weapons, just hands and feet... do you think we would survive out in the wild? post your opinions, ill post mine..

no.. simply put no.. we rely on electricity and weapons to much that we forgot what its really like to use our fist and legs for defensive purposes.. we go against tigers and lions, they have waay more advantage then we do...


so whats your input?

well... anybody with a basic knowledge of survival could last quite a while. If they've watched man vs. wild they should be ok.

If I have a knife with me and clothes on my back i would be ok.

the one with Les Stroud isn't... whichever one that is. Survivor man i think. Both give good advice either way.

i would love to live with the tribes out in the amazon.. they have waay better advice then some tv show... plus they most likely can out do us in a battle as they know where to hide and where to sneak up, baisally they know the jungle... which we dont..

It is staged, but it teaches survival skills.

The facts are still relevant. You dont need murderers and rapists to show up to your self defense clas to learn how to defend yourself.

Man vs wild is staged but he teaches you useful skills. Survivor man is real but les stroud is ridiculous. I watch the show for humor mostly although I have learned that everything in the wild tastes good

If I had some type of survival gear maybe like matches fishing line hook ect. I feel, and im sure most outdoorsman, could last indefinetly.
