A friend is hanging onto my male from a while back, this tank size doesn't really suit the GT though IMO...it's very limiting footprint wise :(

Plus I'm trying to get away from cichlids for a while lol, something peaceful that won't give me high blood pressure haha :P

PS, inb4 someone points out that discus are cichlids...and can be boisterous lol

here's the pics I seen previously that I'm inspired by, all credit to the person that created them; discovered on a British aquascaping forum.

I'm happy with the gluing of the wood just now, but i'm having some reservations on the clay...may consider a different type of gravel similar to these pics. Also need to try and create supports to bank up the substrate, using plastic bottles cut to size :)

I've found that the moler clay is very, very light; drifts up with the slightest current

Don't know why but I prefer the tank as it was in the first picture
