i read a few places it will help sheading

but judgeing by the reviews......i am not so sure anymore......

should i get a fogger of some kind?

no,they are dry herps that enjoy being misted at times and a swim now and then in very shallow water but they are not a tropical lizard. How often and what do you feed it.How big and old is it?

no fogger, there from the desert they barely need a bowl of water. if hes not shedding regularly then you doing something wrong. make sure you have 10.0 uvb and a heat spot up to 110 deg in the tank. a bowl of water crickets, mealworms, and alot of different vegies.

If its an enclosed tank with a screen top,a large water bowl should be enough.Anyways, let us know how your set up is and the other stuff I asked.

daily he gets:
crickets or meal worm
veggies

-* always has water supplied from the exo- medium water fall *-

i mist him daily ( sometimes not if i get out of work late and hes sleeping i wont wake him )

also i give him baths ( aka let him swim in the tub with very little water.

i got him 06/12/07
soe hes 1 year and 2 months or so ( but i didnt get him real young, i would say hes a year and a half or so

what about calcium and vits?Just remember they are from the desert and arid scrublands of austrelia so you gotta think no on the humidity, even maybe the waterfall but it depends how big the cage is and what type. How often does it shed?Humidity wont make it shed,it just helps loosen up skin to come off easier but the growing is what causes it and as long as he is eating and keeping weight on you should be good.Just make sure the lights are right and hes getting suplements with his food.If not,Im sure somebody can help you with that.

i will up load pics in a few, i am changing my S/W tanks' water. hes in a 55g. with calcium based sand? i thinks thats what it said on the package. i put crickets in a white cup before i feed him with " dragon dust " its got all kinds of calcium and vitmans.i have a 18 inch florsent repti glo 8.0 light that i change every 6 months, also have a large red hat light for day and a small heat lamp for night.

bearded dragons dont need a fogger theyre strictly desert, but since humidity helps other types of lizards when shedding i dont see why it wouldnt help a bearded dragon. what you should do is get a small plastic box, cut a hole on the side big enough so your bearded dragon can get in with ease, fill it up with moss and wet it daily.
