humidity for bearded dragon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Moisture helps a reptile shed, it doesn't promote or cause shedding. Growth promotes shedding. I would only mist a beardie if he was having a hard time shedding, especially around the feet.

Is this guy growing for you?

They still enjoy getting misted, they will drink from the drops running down their spines.DOnt ask how I know but they realy do seem to enjoy it,lol.100% though on growth causing the sheds and not humidity.I think one poster thinks its having trouble shedding but in this case he is just concerned because it dosnt shed much at all.We will wait for pics, hurry up with your dang salt tank.DOnt put the dragon in it by the way.

done with the water change, pics in a few just have to taske them and photobucket em :)

alright pics are uploading ( i have alot may take awhile, not all of my dragon. got some of my s/w tank, beardie, and traxxas rustler ) :)

check back in like 10

Sounds to me like your beardie may just be done growing. There's a possibility you have a Rankins dragon which stays alot smaller than the regular dragons do. My beardie doesn't shed anymore. If it's warm enough, you should keep his cage outside for a few hours a day. There's nothing like natural UV rays :) It heals all wounds...
