im looking for decent puffer to be kept along in a 125 tank ive wanted a saltwater porkypine but never wanted to jump into that. The 2 puffers I have listed do they need to be kept in brackish? im trying to find one that will not need to be any other info if these cant be kept?

fahaka is pure fresh water...

Both are FW puffers. Humpbacks really aren't very active fish, I think you'd be a lot happier with a fahaka.

Not always the case, I house my fahaka's with 15 tetra's and 2 plecos. I would say its a case by case basis, but tankmates is rare

It is best to keep the Fahaka by itself, unless you want to risk other fish. They don't get eaten but they will get kill by Fahaka, and yes get a Fahaka perfect size for 125G and very active fish.

Definately not 2 fahakas together!

I started with gravel but ended up changing to pool filter sand. Wish i did sooner. The fahaka seems to like the sand more it even buries itself in the sand.
