Hungry level identification.

[Freezers]

Since I bought 5 new adults rbs I am struggle to understand how and when will saw me sign of hunger so feed them right then and nothing left for me to clean.
The only sign I THINK until now is that they swimming at almost surface..
But still are scared easy so I prefer to wait.
What about yours?
Any special signs that fish show you that now feed me and I will eat all my food? ??

I’d say when they get extra nippy with each other it’s a good sign they are getting hungry.
Hard to give an exact time table as every fish is different.

I suggest not trying to figure out when they are hungry but since the group are mature you can try feeding every other day. As Deadeye stated in a earlier post if they get too hungry they will eat one of their own.

 

[Freezers]

Yes I see I have them 6 days now and eat only 1 day but general they feel very safe as I see and pretty sure for them self's.
I know that will cannibal them self's and I really worry because one of the team was already in the tank and I think would be the first one that will get killed some day although they seemed to be accepted but not 100%.
So I tried to find the best sign of hunger to feed them.
