The shocker with no thumb action is no shocker at all!!

I blew up a squirrel with a 300 win mag... No pictures though. Nothing to take a picture of really. I was pissed after sitting in the woods for 3 days and seeing nothing...

You are the kind of guy that gives hunters like us a bad name. "Blew up a squirrel". Hunt with respect for your prey.

Shot three rounds of trap today...First time actually shooting trap but I did ok. I got 11-15-11 out of 25. First two were at 16 yards with my nova and last one was att 22 yards with my buddies over and under gti...which btw is a sweet gun! My shoulder is feeling it a little bit. I was being a little sloppy with the gun. Still can't wait to shoot my first 3.5" slug lol.

That brings back memories. I use to shoot Skeet and Sporting Clays all the time. I'm pretty good, but my dad is an amazing shot with a shotgun. I still can't grasp how he knows how to lead some of the shots he takes because they're soooooo far away. He rarely if ever misses when we're out hunting ducks and geese.

speaking of shooting skeet anyone ever a game called baseball?

Yea it always seems like the dad's have some amazing super power that they can do anything lol. My dad has trophies for shooting skeet. I thought it was alot of fun and even though I didn't do that good it was my first time shooting and my first time shooting my new gun so I can take that. And also shooting trap and skeet and shooting game is a totally different game. Thats like comparing apples to oranges. I know people that will never miss a clay bird but put them out in the boat and they can't hit a thing lol. But about this baseball game?

Shooting clay birds is a lot of fun. I wish my dad didn't give our trap away. I use to use a Ithica 20 ga. over and under for skeet. It was a nice light, quick gun. I still have it but now I use a Bretta 390 Semi-auto 12 ga. for hunting, skeet and sporting clays.

Yeah no kidding! You can't entirely compare shooting clay birds to the real thing. You usually know where the clay targets are going, not the same with a live bird in flight!
