There's a reality show on the hunters in Texas like Miguel referred to, they let a couple of dogs loose then wait for a signal (type of barking) and then track back to thier dogs by foot or atv, Hopefully before they're hurt.

The dogs wear vests though

Nopes. In here it is either walking with the dogs, or on horsebck. In each case all the way, sometimes for 6 or 7 hours....

Nowadys the pack owners are starting to use some vests on their top dogs, but it is not yet practicw, unfortunately.

Boar hunting packs number, in any given day, more than 50 dogs.

And no, i do not use my mastiffs for this. Could not risk it. Those are special hunting packs and i am lucky to be invited to go along by the pack owners.

But let us face it. A dogo is born and bred for this, as are many presa breeds. They are not house / lap dogs.

They nowadys are either farm guards or hunting dogs. And the latter sure are happier, i can tell you.
