idk but we just made a pond outside thats 1.5k gallons and has rocks around it.. and i have 3 tanks outside.. my god this is gona suck

how long do these usually last for a given area?
is there always big damage?
Why do people live in these areas if they are prone to destruction?

i was in a cat 4 about 120 to 130 mph winds for us.
we were in our house listening to the shingles fly off our house.
and the roof making alot of cracking noises trying to come off.

No hurricanes are not that bad except for a select few here and there. Charlie or w/e it was that came through here a few years ago was bad but not tooo bad. I lost power for 5 weeks (sucky transformer) and there was lots of trees on houses and stuff but not as bad as what happened to New Orleans. All though I think FL's flag should still be a blue tarp cuse if you fly over us .... there is STILL houses upon houses in blue tarp!

Dude you live in Hawaii. You guys are prone to typhoons and tsunamis and not to mention volcanoes! So why do you live there?!
