It's about 15" and growth rate is very slow.

Size of bichirs won't matter if your doing non-hormone injected breeding. But with natural breeding, it may or may not happen and if does happen the male must be 2 years old and female around 3-5 years. I only got this info from my friend in Indonesia as I never breed my own bichirs yet.
