IMO he ate a rock, filter part, deco… or its a goiter from mal nutrition. If its a goiter theres not much u can do at this point. Might b worth taking him out and “inspecting” inside his gullet for any object. Small forceps should do the trick if its and object.

only way to know for sure is to take him out and look… if theres nothing in there its a goiter… caused by mal nutrition and or nitrates. Not to be rude but the water looks pretty dirty. The placement of the “object” looks pretty suspect also. The stress from the tank move and dirtier water could have been enough for it to “come out”… wish u the best (swallowed object)… if he has not puked it up already u gotta get it out for him. Sometimes just getting them in a net will be enough to make em puke.

pull him out, use a wet towel…gently pry his mouth open with needle nose pliers and have a look with a flash light. If theres something in there… take it out. If its a ball of flesh leave it be.
