their are a few people around who think this is a hybrid BUT it was born from my own adult p14

the owner took 2 pups from me and they are both turning out like this yet all of the other pups from the batches look like normal p14

the only thing i can think of why these to pups are turning out diffrent to the rest is the ONLY pellet diet

all the other pups from my adult p14 were eatting prawn mussel blood worm and pellets this pup only eats pellet

dont get me wrong when this pup turns black it will look sweeeeeet

i have hurd that the adult male p14 in my pair may have some pearl genes which i think is rubbish

opinion welcome

i have been told it may be some distant pearl genes that are begin to come out

we will have to wait and see

i just seams strange that both the pups this guy has have turned out like this but they were from diffrent litters of pups yet all the other pups from the litter look like normal p14

this is why i think it must be the sole pellet diet

its really possible

Doesn't genetics determine the pattern of rays? How can diet affect the genetic make up of an animal? I know environment can somewhat influence they way they look. No matter, it's a beautiful ray.

yes it is nice......
its funny how everyone is trippin on hybrids lately who cares it a top notch ray
and by the way i am copying u on the pellet diet i have my leo pup hamering them down
again love to see how that thing turns out
