hybrid or pure blood p14

Hybrid... maybe a P14 and a Peru Flower?

next everyone will say eclipse leos are hybrids because they don't look like standard leos

At the moment i think your pups are pure blood, and for one reason only the male you have (the one with the big spots) he is almost black, has nice white spots.

Thought i would do something fun and put all our pups from you in one series from smallest to largest.

The thing that has buggered everthing up is that female that Andreas showed us. She has double spotting, this seems to have been passed on throught the generations to our pups in an extreme form. Which in my opinion has left them looking a lot nicer than your usual P14.

The only thing that I think puts my mind in any dought doubt is the fact my male has a big brown spot on his underside, characteristic to pearls. I have seen a few small ones on a few other adult P14s but nothing like this.

i don't know what to say about the ray other than wow nice pup. the thing that attracts me to this thread is your opinion on Hakari pellets. you responded to a thread on my experiment with Mazuri 5M 70 aquatic gel. i got some of the rays to take to it pretty well, however it really just falls apart during consumption. Hakari is expensive but if they eat less of it because it is a freeze dried formula than maybe i can justify the expense. one way to find out. looks like i need to pick some up and try.

Patterns aren't always uniform... Either way, I like it, it's a beautiful ray- i'd be pleased with it.
The feeding may be conincidence, or it could be an interesting development.

that said look at blue motoro as soon as they stop eating what ever it is that turns them blue the blue is gone within 3 months

my adults were only fed on pellets once their spots were developed

we will just have to wait and see what happens my p14 never turned totaly black until they were at least 1.5 years old this pup is just 7 months so only half way their

your male seams to have the bigger spots just like mine :D
