OK what is the chance that a female dragons blood peacock, Can lay and hold eggs in mbuna tank, out numbered about 20 to 1, males to female ratio.20170124_175126.jpg

She will be holding a mouth full of eggs in a few hours.

The last 4 times they were unfertilized. Lots and lots of boys, this time.

In my book of ethics, all of the Rift lake cichlids are hybrids, of the technic plates.
Now a if I had her acclimatized to full marine salt, with a bunch of Damsel fish. That would be

She is holding eggs today. I watched part of the spawning take place. She never paired, mostly a solo thing. When any fish came near she would chase them off, before laying another egg.
If she has any fry it will be from accidentally fertilized eggs. In the wild, her type would become extinct.

Ok, but if you are hybridizing on purpose, please do not distribute these fish to pet stores or other hobbyists.. Keep the babies that you want in your own tank.

This is my new Stud, solid hybrid, cross with a Acei mbuna, and a dragons blood. The whole school of fry, have awesome dispositions. They are just starting to color up.
