The bright orange male is a 50/50 acei x dragons blood. He was not interested in any of the dragon bloods. The smaller pink fish, just infront of him. I thought was a young male. As it was being bullied in the other tank from this guy.
He just matured a few weeks ago.Two days ago I notice the other fish, he was harassing was about to lay eggs. So I put her in the tank with him.
Today I watched them spawn. What surprised me was that none of the mixed acei x dragon males showed any interest.
My large strawberry female "Rose is still holding" ??? The other one failed to fertilize.
The 50/50 dark fry, at about 2 inches. So far they are well mannered.
The darker blue cichlid, is a " female " pseudo trophus elongatus. Not real sure, but very very mellow.
I have about 5 blue color variants, from this batch of fry.
The sole survivor, of about 5 spawning, of dragons bloods.
