I'll keep the lucky male from the first litter and a female from the next. After that, I'll let them go

Thank you she's huge in the rear with lots of movement, should be early next year. The hybrid mom's sister just got knocked up by P14 male so those should be interesting too!
Thought I would post an update on the Pup and hybrid mother. Named the pup "Lucky" because he was the only survivor of his mom's first litter and has an "L" on his back.

Love that L on his back! That is unique for sure!! Don't usually name my fish, but that's a perfect name!!
Thanks for the comment! I usually favor symmetry but the L and the situation made for the perfect name and he must be kept! His father is in my avatar. Looking forward to seeing how he grows and develops. I'll put him with some BD pups I have in another thread
Update on this little guy. Hasn't changed much at all nearing a year in age. about 7" now which is small. But considering he was moms first litter and he was barely 3", he's made good progress. Still looking more like BD dad than the hybrid mom which I expect will change. I see some small faint spots starting behind the original spotting, we will see what that leads to. Also, a picture of Big spot dad when he was younger
