I'm going to split them up and pair them off with other fish.

My Electric Blue Jack Dempsey and my f jack are spawning. I am excited about them breeding.
 
definitely, are the fry like a mix or is one dominant over the other?
 
I can't really tell yet. The females genes are supposed to enhance the Males genes. So I am expecting them to have jaguar markings with the trimacs shape, fins, and colors.

here is a link of a youtube video the guy says it is a dovi trimac mix but it looks more like a jag trimac to me, but I expect my babies to look something like this guy.

I have an extra 30g and a 40 breeder set up waiting for either more fish or fry. And I am in the process of resealing a slate bottomed 55.

I am always interested in a new fish...
especially if "donated"
 
I picked up a couple of Midas Hybrids today from walmart. They are really small. Walmart actually had a tank full of hybrids, They had severumxparrot, parrotxflowerhorn, midasxparrot, and some others.

i didnt even know severumxparrot was possible....
how are the jack's?
 
My Parrot is ready to lay eggs again, so I put in the M texas w/ her. The midas is with the female texas. It also looks like my jag trimac pair are going to breed again. I'm going to need to be selling some babies here soon.

a parrot is a red devil x sevrum, so i dont see why it couldnt cross back to a parent.
