if it is a true GAFT, than it's going to be much more than $100, 350 mabey more.

I agree it is not very plausible but may be possible they are GATF. All Happy a community vendor has some for sale now for 250$. Obviously they paid less than the 250$ they are charging. Highly unlikely they will turn out being goliath but stranger things have happened.

If they are Vatf instead of GATF what's the big difference all around with pricing and look?

Gatf are usually 4-6 times more expensive than Vitattus. Vittatus jaws are generally smaller and less powerful looking. Vitatus normally have stripes running horizontally across their body. There are a few good threads on here that help with identifying the two from each other. They seem to look very similar in pics but once you have owned one it is very easy to tell the two apart.

Sure will...

They're thinking April now, when it gets warmer. They're pretty confident it's the Goliath African Tiger Fish, but only time and pictures will tell. Whatever they come as I'll be sure to give a good deal.

Spoke to supplier again today and order might be placed within 1-2 weeks. I have few pm's of those that are interested, but I really need to know those who are serious as I will need to purchase a larger quantity. email me at fishtankfactory@gmail.com if you are serious. Price actually is $150 each.

I apologize for giving a lower quote, they were more pricey than I thought!

I also told them that I want a positive ID, and that if they are not the Goliath, then I will refuse the order.

Feel free to email me again if you already have. They should be coming in around 4". I have picked up quite a few pictures from this forum to compare and identify. If you have any clear photos between the two african tiger's, feel free to post!
Thanks!
