ATF's are a Season Fish. Some times you get a nice bunch floating around but Id say most of the time Vendors only get 6-12pcs at a time.
Caribemob- Yes they need a wider footprint if you are talking about 13"+ ATF (w/the exception of Goliaths. They are very clumsy/skittish fish and need wider!!). You can grow out ATF's but in the end, a nice snout will dissapear in a 3' or smaller width tank.
JMO. My big boy is in a 30" wide and its time to upgrade or move him out
