Yea, I picked up a few Redtails sometime ago but could not see any result of growth. They kept eating and eating but no sign =-( ..... They do get big. However, feel that the growth rate is not as fast as the Armatus. I remember when I first saw Woodysun's Payara I believe it was mentioned that it was a Redtail and the growth rate was fast. After looking at the pictures now, I believe what he has is an Armatus. You can see the White Stripe at the end of the tail. Common to Armatus's. See below..
