Looks like ordinary scomberoides, only with yellow finnages and golden-ish scale colouration

That looks more tat shaped to me.

It's a Scomb. Probably just a collection point thing with the name.

The reason I say it looks like a tat is because the arch of a scomb's belly stretches all the way to it's anal fin.

A tat's stops just before it's pelvic fins (as the fish's in the original post does).

It's upturned snout looks tat. Also, I have heard of a yellow tailed tat before, but never a scomb. Check out this thread starting at post 25. http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=266664&highlight=tat+yellow
If you still think I'm wrong (which I could be) , could you tell me where my error is? I've only owned tats before. I've always had trouble ID'ing these things, but I thought I was getting better at it. Maybe not.

Edit: Looking at the OP's pics, the tiny little tail does look scomb.

I think it's just the angle of the pics. I've had many Scombs, and have seen and had yellow tailed ones.
That huge black spot beneath the pectoral gives it away.

Maybe the OP can get more pics? Say, in tank pics?

Cool, thanks.
