i need alittle info please.thanks

they're skittish, shy fish just like piranhas. They usually die on most people by the time they hit 12", most speculation says this is due to not having enough water current in the tank. I don't recall if people have had success with getting them on non-live foods..

It's possible to get them on non-live foods... Had my old Raphioidon vulpinus and payaras taking freeze dried Krill, chopped earthworms, and even Hikari Gold pellets :) GL!
