I got some super nice luteus. 2 pieces that are the brightest yellow that I've ever seen with no black at all. and some very nice phase 2.5 what I called clown pattern, just amazing stuff.

14-18" size range, all eating, all have been under quarantine and dewormed.

apistogramma borelli

corydoras ellisae

hypostomus margaritifer jet black pleco with white spots.

I'm wondering how the colour can change so much in these fish. It's awesome!

Is the color fixed or will they continue to change?

unlike xanto plecos, the colors revert back to black easily. These stay pretty much this way or advance to more yellow. People don't know why they turn yellow, its not size related. I've had solid gold 12" ones, and nearly all black 18" ones., they can reach 30" in the wild from what I've been told. Imagine a solid gold 30" pleco., that is impressive.

what I do know, is they don't turn black from my experience.
