that seems a little large, idk maybe i'm crazyAFRICAN LUNGFISH.
that sounds like a nice community tank, only issue might be water parameters as i have very hard water and a PH of around 8.2. IK I can always adjust it but that seem like it would take some work.Blackwater

AFRICAN LUNGFISH.
You are not crazy. Even if you got a small one they grow very quickly and would outgrow your 55 a year or so. To house one long term you need a very large tank.that seems a little large, idk maybe i'm crazy
I wouldnt adjust it, that would cause more potential problems. Those fish will be ok at 8.2 as long as its stable. Bit if you have a higher pH, african cichlids might be a better choice.that sounds like a nice community tank, only issue might be water parameters as i have very hard water and a PH of around 8.2.
