Hypothetical question.......

I think a silver would get murdered against a giant snakehead, too. A four foot silver IMO couldn't handle a three foot snakehead. It would take something like a grown ATF to hope to win against a snakehead at even sizes. Even then, it would be tough. The ATF would have the better weapons, though not by much, but I still think the snakehead would have the bigger cojones.

Pound for pound, there's not much that can take a snakehead. Some really nasty piranha, like an enlongatus, could probably give a snakehead a run for it's money inch-for-inch and pound-for-pound, but where are we gonna find a three foot P?

+1

I also think that a Florida or spotted gar given that they are the same size would give the snakehead a run for their money as well, and don't even get me started on those gator gars haha

One last one wat about snakehead vs hoplias aimara

Good one! I think I'd go with the wolf on that one. Pound for pound, the wolf seems like it would be more powerfully built. I also suspect their attitudes and teeth are about the same. I think the wolf would have what it takes, but it really could go either way. 60/40 in favor of the wolf.

I think an equal sized aimara would probably cut the snakehead in two but speaking of wolf fish how about a wolf cichlid....a big bad ass Dovii?

Yeah for cichlids they have pretty nasty teeth. I think the profile of a dovii makes them a big target compared to a snakehead though. If they were close in size the dovii might have a chance
