Hypothetically would this work?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yea but i'm still sticking with the fact that if a 6-7in fish doesn't bother a 1in fish. then by growing it out to 24-36in and a 12-15in fish (grown oscar) the size difference is actually less in comparing ratios. and the paroons are very predatory from what 've seen. not the IDs. like i said it may just be me

dude if you want a "shark looking fish" get a big ass marine aquarium and get 1 lol. the ID will grow just as large as some of the smaller sharks....

ive never kept IDs only paroons.
thought theyd act the same.
my old fat paroon ate 2 4 inch temensis in an hour when he was only 6 inches...:irked:
either way,NO TO THE ID SHARK

yea i'm not agreeing with acura on keeping the ID, i'm actually trying to make the point that ID's i've seen never really had that huge preatory instinct that he seems to be looking for. thats why i recomended the other fish. and i've never seen paroons in person just in online videos. anyone else have experience similar to mine or contradictory? like i said it may not be fact what i'm guessing just from what i've seen and making assumptions

Cetopsis Coecutiens - body looks amazing .. and seems to swim like etc but i'm not a huge fan on the head / eyes .. have a picture of a grown one so I can see what he would turn out like?

the bullhead .. nah, not quite what I was looking for.

and to the guy who keeps commenting on a 38, I don't have a 38, I have a 50gl .. not a huge difference but still. another 12 gallons.

Truthfully, your whole stock is incompatible. Also, they would outgrow the tank and then you have to hassle getting rid of them. I think you should reconsider the stock. It would be alot easier and less hassle. You have to come to the fact that theres no FW sharks (Even though some are called Sharks), so you are stuck getting something else.

Ummm. You don't have the 50 yet, still got those fish in a 10?
Anyway, if it fits in the mouth it's food.

With the right size tank and lots of care .. Hypothetically all bought as juvies I suppose would it be possible to keep ...

1x iridescent shark
2x bala sharks
1x redtail black shark
1x oscar
1x angel fish

possible to keep these together or where would my concerns be?

i agree with most, the oscar will own . They are mean, nasty, horny, and always hungry. angle.. ? will be owned.
