ya when they are small, reticulated and hystrix look about the same and are both usually labeled as "teacup." hope you get the right one

Sorry to say they look nothing alike. Even when born, retics are about the flattest of rays while hystrix are very tall bodied with prominent eyes plus a retics tail is almost twice the length of a hystrix. The ray in question is almost definitely an orbignyi.

Hystrix and Retics are like chalk and cheese.....there is no similarity between the species what so ever, not at any stage of development.
The ray in question has already been posted and unfortunately he hasn't got what he wanted.
