is that one of the first ones the 3-4"ers?

my biggest is about 7-8" and it was about 6" when i got her. mine eat shrimp some smelt and earthworms.

Yes I bought all the small 3-4"ers. All 6 will be going in the 550 in about a month or so. I still have to build the filtration and cycle it.

i know there were quite a bit of hystrix sold, anybody eles have more info?

Ours are growing like little weeds. I expect it to slow down, though, because they were probably stunted in their former environment (half-way decent, albeit irritatingly ignorant, LFS tank that was far too tiny for them). Does anyone else have experience with wild growth spurts after adequate feeding and housing is restored?
