Can someone plz tell me why this is cool? Keeping fish like this? This is how a holding tank should look like. Not a private tank. Whats rong with these guys!?

I agree with you, there is a reason i only have live bearers and 2 convicts because i don't have the room for big true monsters. I hope some day to be able to keep them, but not now. I'd rather enjoy them at a public aquarium or look at other people on here rather than own them and have them suffer. That's just greedy and cruel.How dare you put the life of a beautiful animal at risk just so you can say I own this or that.

I know where you're coming from Anders, and I can tell that this issue genuinely upsets you. It is indeed unfortunate that people keep these fish with such disregard for their well being. Unfortunately for those of us who care for these animals, it is difficult for us to see them kept like this. However, it is an individual's right to keep his fish, or whatever property he has, however he sees fit. I feel that the best way to deal with such individuals is to bring the behavior to their attention, and if they fail to see the wisdom in our advice, ignore them. To acknowledge such behavior will only encourage the individual to continue in such behavior.

Anders, your knowledge is too useful to waste it on someone who doesn't care to hear it. Many members on this forum feel the way we do and it would be a shame if you got yourself banned over an individual who doesn't share our compassion for these animals.
