I don't know. She gave birth at night so I'm not sure if they mated right after she gave birth. From my observations afterwards, the male didn't show any interest (mating wise) with her. Did yours mate right after the female gave birth? My marbles always did.

Pups are doing well. Both eat scallop, shrimp, chopped earth worms, frozen blood worms, and squid. One will also eat tilapia.
Can't remember exactly when I first saw movement-guessing it was in late July or August. So to answer your question, maybe 2 1/2 months later she gave birth.

ok good to know. my largest female is doing great. Def 1 maybe 2 just like yours. This will be her first litter (knock on wood) The video i took makes sense on her trying to stab the males eyes, since he had already knocked her up. I gotta get a 40 gal breeder to put it/them in
