Here are my hystrix. Male is the darker one, female is lighter. She is also one of his daughters.

Here are my two. I have a pair of wild caught from the very last time you could actually import from Brazil. They are p6 or p.wallici. The ones truly from Brazil are normally much lighter in color than other hystrix. A shame that hystrix that come in from Peru or Columbia are labeled true hystrix because that is not correct.

Luckily for me my female is pregnant right now. Expecting pups toward the end of this month to beginning of next month.
