Right on Grape! I'm still looking for the right female for my boy. He's only 6 1/2 inches now, but I'm in the healthy happy boat at least so it's only a matter of time.
From my experience maturity is right around 3 years of age. My largest male and female retics are over 5 now and my Hystrix is somewhere around 8 I believe. Just keep them healthy and happy and feed good quality food provide lots of clean water and the rest will take it's course. Are you looking for a female retic?
