My understanding is there are two kinds of rays labeled "Hystrix". The "true" ones, which is like the one I bought from you, larger blotches and less of them, from Brazil and another variety (probably the above picture) with smaller "spots" so called 'false' hystrix stingrays, such as orbinyi, humerosa, and yepezi stingrays from Peru I have these too and they look identical to the above picture.
Ray keepers here correct me if I am wrong.

Crash that is a nice ray but is not a true hystrix.
