You can find "feeder guppies" at most fish stores at 10~20 for a dollar...

But there are quite a few strains of "fancy guppies" that cost a good bit more...

That blows. I killed a pictus cat once. Transferring him in a net. He got tangled. I had to cut the net he swam around with the net attached to him for a day then died most likely due to stress

Yeah. I squished a loach in half once. I was trying to move him and he darted between the net and the wall... Then I had to drive to the lfs to find one that looked just like it b/c my girlfriend gets really attached to fish. I have 15 fish. They all have names. And she can tell them all apart. Even the neon tetras. Thank god she never noticed. It would have not been a fun night.

sorry for laughing. Reminds me of my moms recent confession. She said when me and my older brother were like 4 and 9 years old she had to replace the goldfish we had about every week with one that looked like the last one because my brother had "Trouble dealing with death" . She said it was a race sometimes to find the right one.
