I Adopoted!!! Meet: Akina!!!

Just for an update she is sill doing very well, but she is going to have to go to obediance school and socialization with other dogs - her hunting insticts are very strong so she needs more trainig. We also found out something intresting, in an e-mail. One of the ladies from the shelter forward an e-mail I sent her about the dog to a lady who works for the FL Akita society. Well the lady from the Akita place sent me an e-mail concerning the breed of my dog. Well at first we thought she was the mix we were told but after more research we decided she is a spitz mix, just not the mix we were told. Well the Akita lady confirmed she was not Akita at all and it turns out she is probably a Karelian Bear Dog (it may still be a mix with another sptiz though.). Anyways just wanted to share an update on her =]
