God if it were only 48,800 miles closer we would have been in trouble. Maybe even at 48,799 miles. I feel like I have a new life. Everything is different. My fish are prettier lol.

Exactly...

The oxygen isn't going to run out immediately (as in, a few hours). Animals might start dying from the lack of food before the die from the lack of oxygen.
 
Studies have statistically shown, if Sally Struthers was 1% more overweight, the increased gravitational pull would have dragged this thing directly into our orbital path and killed us all. Thank God there wasn't a sale on Twinkies this week.

Hell! It wouldn´t change a thing up here in scandinavia if the world were hit by an asteroid or something. Its already like Mordor up here.

We would probably be the only surviving this thing.
 
An asteroid the size of the one that created the yucatan peninsula passed between us and the moon in the early 90's
