the earth has basically been demolished many times before with most of what lived in here, i thinks its just ridiculous to think we are somehow protected now and this will not happen again, of course there will be and end to us.

The odds of being earth being destroyed by impact are 1 and 20,000....:( More likely than acing the S.A.T's...
 
Thats why you live your life with no regrets. Tell your children,parents,spouse, friends you love them. Don't put off doing something important tomorrow. I really don't know if 2012 is the end, but there have been many false alarms like the year 2000. I'm going to try to not let the possibility of the world ending ruin my life and paralyze me with fear. Sure beats dying a sow painful cancer death....
